The story's protagonist, Lin Qing, was a young man who grew up in a mountain village. From a young age, he was filled with curiosity about everything in nature. He often wandered alone into the forest, listening to the wind, observing the flow of rivers, and feeling the pulse of the earth. The village elders would often tell him, “Qing, you have a special connection with nature. Perhaps you will become a great geomancer.”

Sure enough, on the other side of a sand dune, an oasis appeared, its waters shimmering and teeming with life.
